One of the flagship initiatives of the Government of Pakistan, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), was mainly meant to provide financial support to sustain low-income families. Lately, it has expanded its scope by formulating that helps equip its beneficiaries-specially women with essential BISP Skill Training Program and internationally recognized certifications. The objective of BISP skill training is as follows

• Empowerment of the Beneficiaries: Thus, through this, the women along with other beneficiaries will be empowered through equipping skills to increase their employability.
• International Certification: The trainees shall be accorded international certification; thus, they shall be assured of enhanced opportunities in accessing employment within the country and overseas.
• Economic Empowerment: The program will empower the economy in that it will empower the beneficiaries’ skill sets to improve their economic status and repute within the country.
• Unemployment: It is aimed at solving Pakistan’s unemployment since it delivers highly demanded skillful learning throughout all market requirements.

Target Audience

This includes BISP beneficiaries, those persons who are already earning some kind of money earnings through BISP, especially women who have already submitted their survey to the Tehsil office. The program extends to the families of beneficiaries thus having a wider impact on the community and Underprivileged youth who would like to acquire skills for better job prospects.

Program Structure

The BISP Skill Training Program is an all-around learning experience that consists of from a technical skills point of view, hands-on skill development workshops with practical jobs will also be conducted to discuss work that may frequently appear in the job market.

Skills Offered

The various categories of the BISP Skill Training Program include the following skills:

Information Technology, Courses on computer literacy, software development, and digital marketing. Education in such vocational skills as tailoring, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, basic medical training, which includes nursing assistantship as well as basic first aid and Business management workshops, Financial literacy, and entrepreneurship to develop enterprise and self-employment.

International Certification

It is particularly important because one of the things that makes this stand out is international certification.
