Punjab government launched Satellite Internet the schools is a landmark step in narrowing the digital divide of education, the Punjab government officially launched a Satellite Internet program for schools across the province. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz formally inaugurated this much-awaited initiative that would greatly benefit educational access and quality. Objectives of the Satellite Internet Initiative 

• Tackling Digital Divide: It ensures that students from such unprivileged and remote places do not lag behind to face a modern education scenario with no Satellite Internet services; it is a basic requirement for education.
• Accessing school resources: Tons of online resources become accessible to schools using this service. These include access to learning platforms, research databases and much rich, Satellite Internet interactive education content.
