In the recent past, due to global events, most training has been shifted towards digital means, and there is an ever-growing need for digital access in education. Distribution Plan for free Tablet

Phased implementation of the free tablet scheme. The first phase shall commence in November 2024-December 2024 targeting the ninth and tenth-grade candidates of the district, and free tablets to all students of classes eleven and twelve shall be provided from January-February 2025. The final phase will take place between February and March 2025, covering the remaining attendees in urban areas.

• Phase I: Classes 9-10 in rural areas from November to December 2024
• Phase 2: Classes 11-12 in rural areas from January to February 2025
• Phase 3: : All students in urban areas from February to March 2025

Government and Private Partnerships

It will succeed if it involves partnering the government with the relevant stakeholders. These include provincial governments, educational technology companies, private businesses, and telecom firms. Together they will be able to offer the appropriate technology, allocate the distribution of it, and ensure that they can afford the internet that they use on the tablets to maximize learning opportunities.
