The Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz launched the Ramzan Nigehban Program under the Ehsaas Rashan Program which was initiated by the former prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan back in 2019, to provide Ramzan relief packages including free atta to the needy and poor people.

Free Atta Scheme 2024 will start from the 10th of March as announced by the Government of Punjab. The CM of Punjab said that every deserving person will get this relief and will not suffer any difficulty or problem all by himself or herself.
The 8070 Nigehban Free Atta scheme will be very helpful in improving the poverty rate in Punjab. It will not only provide the free atta to people but also discounts on grocery items which can be availed through those grocery stores that are registered under the Ehsaas Rashan Program.
8070 Online Registration
Search 8070 Ramzan Relief Package or Nigehban Rashan Program 2024, and visit the official website of this scheme. There, you will be asked to fill out a form and you have to provide the necessary details such as your information, ID card number, and Contact number.
After filling it out, submit it for registration. If the registration is successful and you are eligible then you will be given a 40% discount on 3 bags of 10-kilogram flour and on grocery items or rashan from utility stores.
Criteria for the Ramzan Relief Package
People who are earning less than 60,000 Rs, living below the poverty line, are residents of Pakistan, have utility, electricity and gas bills of less than 15000 Rs, have not performed Umrah, and do not own any vehicle are eligible for this Nigehban Rashan Program.
While those people who are earning Rs 60,000 or more than this or own any vehicle or land and are living over the poverty line are not eligible for the 8070 Ramzan Relief Package.

Nigehban Program Survey
The government of Pakistan is conducting a survey just like NSER in order to find out the deserving people in the province of Punjab. If you want to get registered in the program you have to be ready for the survey when authorities will approach you.

The Distribution Process of the Nigehban Rashan Program
There has been proper planning to distribute the Nigehban Rashan Program and make it a transparent process for everyone. The process starts with the verification of the poor, needy and deserving people around the Punjab with the help of Ehsaas NADRA and BISP.
The food authority of Punjab also striving efforts to make sure that people are receiving good quality rashan. The packages will be distributed or delivered to the deserving people in their homes. In case of any difficulty, the recipients can contact the AC of the district.

Moreover, these collaborated schemes resulted in the establishment of the Ramzan Bazaar in various towns in the cities. The Food Authority, District Administration and Food Department will be supervising the Bazaar and transparent rashan delivery.
