Free Wi-Fi at Universities

Meanwhile, six months after the PTA, in collaboration with PTCL and private companies, declared the possible deployment of free Wi-Fi hotspots in six HEC-recognized selected universities, including women’s universities, the declaration was made to empower access of students to improved digital resource availability.

  • The PTA has also offered all the mobile users in Pakistan free 2 GB of data plus 200 on-net minutes to celebrate attaining 200 million telecom subscribers.
